eBay's live chat option is not always easy to find. Here are three methods to get you there quickly.
The easiest way to find the eBay online chat option is to go directly to the following help page:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/listings/creating-managing-listings
Once on the page, scroll down to the bottom. You will see a "Need more help?" section with a "Chat with us" link beneath it. Click that to start a live chat session.
If the link above does not work, you can navigate to the chat option manually by following this path through the eBay help section:
Once you reach the "Revise a listing" help page, scroll to the very bottom and you will find the chat link in the "Need more help?" section.
You can also reach eBay's chat support by working through their main Help & Contact section. This takes a few more steps but works for any type of issue, not just listing queries.
Go to the eBay website โ visit www.ebay.co.uk
Find Help & Contact โ scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click "Help & Contact" in the footer
Select a topic โ choose the category that best matches your issue (Buying, Selling, Account, Returns, etc.)
Search for your issue โ use the search bar to describe your problem or select from the common issues listed
Look for a contact option โ if the automated suggestions do not resolve your issue, look for "Contact us", "Ask eBay" or a similar link
Choose live chat โ you may be offered several contact options including phone and chat. Select the live chat option
Sign in if prompted โ you may need to sign in to your eBay account before the chat option becomes available
Start chatting โ follow the prompts to begin your session with an eBay customer service representative
