Work from home

Coronavirus Update

As a valued customer, we wanted to update you on the steps Blackwood IT are taking to help minimise the impact of the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19.

All our staff are currently working from home, to prevent one of us getting sick and passing around the office. We are completely setup to work as we are in the office, all of our systems can be accessed as normal, all phone calls come through as normal and we participate in meetings via voice and webcam.

We are seeing a big demand for laptops (and laptop docking stations) at the moment as many people have decided to work from home for the next couple of weeks. Please get it touch with us as soon as possible if you wish to talk about this.

Remote IT Support
No effect on remote support at all. We are setup to work as normal.

Onsite IT Support and Installations
No effect on onsite support, our support technicians can visit and fix issues or install new equipment. We are separating our technicians as much as possible to prevent all technicians being isolated at the same time. We do kindly ask that you can inform us if anyone has had symptoms or is sick. In the event of lockdowns / quarantines imposed by the Government, of course we will have to observe them.
